John is Houston born and he has been in the automotive business his entire life (his father was a new car GM for many years). John earned his degree from Sam Houston State University and went directly into the car business. In 1981, John became GM of Gillman Mitsubishi which was #2 in sales in the U.S. for 1982, 1983, and 1984. He began wholesaling in 1985 and purchased the auction in 1994. In 1996, he moved the auction to its’ present location. John lives in Austin, TX, with his beautiful wife, Dana and their three daughters, one living at home and two in college. John is known as a man of few words. You just never know what he’ll say! |

John was born in Anchorage, Alaska and was raised in Richmond, California and Hunstville, Alabama. He earned his BS in Finance from the University of Alabama in Hunstille. He joined General Electric in 1980. His auction career began in 1989 as Finance Manager at Newburgh Auto Auction. He transferred to Big H Auto Auction as Controller and then AGM, followed by a 5 year stint as GM at Greater New Orleans Auto Auction. While in the New Orleans area, John earned his MBA from Tulane University in 1997. John has been with 1st Choice since 1999.. He and his wife, Georgianne, reside in The Woodlands,Texas, and have one son living at home and an older son residing in Houston. John's dry sense of humor balances out the Houston humidity! |

Jim is a native of Irving, Texas. He graduated from Texas Tech University in 1977 with a BA in Accounting. Prior to joining the First Choice team, he worked for Budget Rent A Car Corporation for 26 years as General Manager at several Budget locations. He and his wife, Melinda, live in Clear Lake. Jim is the mischevious one of the First Choice bunch and has a son and daughter both attending Texas A&M University. |

Keith has been the Fleet/Lease Manager at First Choice for the last 2 years. He graduated in 1985 from Southwest Texas State University and worked in sales for Motorola for 4 years. He also spent 2 ½ years at San Antonio Auto Auction, working in sales and as fleet/lease manager. Keith has an adorable daughter named Samantha and was recently married to his lovely wife, Tammy. |

Wendy was born in Houston and has worked at Metro Salvage since her high school graduation in 1992. Her mother worked for other salvage auctions so she spent much of her childhood around the business. She has the salvage business in her blood! Ray is another local Houstonian. He attended college at Southwest Texas State University in San Marcos. After college, he started his automotive career in the upholstery business catering to auto auctions in Southern California, Phoenix, and Dallas. He sold the business and began his auction career as Fleet/Lease Manager at Big H Auto Auction in 1991. In 1994, he was promoted to the national sales staff at Manheim Auctions. He joined First Choice in 1997 performing many different roles. Ray has a wife, Suzanne and a son, Derrick, who lives in Colorado. |
